Charities

For many years the Partners and staff at Warings Solicitors have lent our support to a number of charities, which are close to our hearts and to the communities in which we live. We see it as a natural extension of our day to day working lives and the principles upon which our firm was founded. Whether it be giving free legal clinics at the local Citizens Advice Bureau, visiting our sick clients in their homes, working without charge for our needy and vulnerable clients, or donating money to worthy causes, we feel we have a duty to utilise our skills and resources for the benefit of both our local community and the community of the whole world in which we live.

With these aims in mind, Warings have chosen to help three specific charities in 2011 and to build on the thousands of pounds donated by us to these charities in 2010.

Our chosen charities are:

CAFOD which provides emergency food and medical aid to starving and struggling communities in the Third World.

SAVE THE CHILDEN which provides help to children who are living in poverty or danger or ill health around the world.

DERRIAN HOUSE A local childrens hospice in Blackpool

In 2011, we will be engaging in a number of projects to raise awareness and sponsorship for our chosen charities. Please keep an eye on this page and our News page for further information. If you would like to sponsor us or even join in with us on these events, please contact us on the Quick Link form below or telephone us on 0845 9999999 and ask for Paul Wilkinson.
